摘要
Lung Ying-tai, the famous essayist and cultural critic from China's Taiwan, attaches great importance to her children's education. In one of her books, Dear Andreas, a collection of letters and e-mails between her and her teenaged son, she writes: "It is better to let your children take a walk in nature than to let them receive 100 lectures on aesthetics; it is better to lead your students during visits to several ancient cities than to offer them lO0-hour lessons on architectural design ... Play is an important part of children's learning and development." Travel is a multi-sensory learning experience, and it is richer than textbooks, videos or classrooms. Women of China (WOC) recently asked several people, including writers and parents, how children benefit from traveling with their parents.
