摘要
Women are an important force in driving economic and social development throughout the world. Women＇s development and gender equality are necessary for inclusive growth and sustainable development of the global economy. The All-China Women＇s Federation （ACWF） organized and hosted the 2016 Women-20 （also known as W20） Meeting in Xi＇an, capital of northwestern China＇s Shaanxi Province, on May 24-26. The meeting, with the theme Equal Participation and Innovative Development, attracted nearly 200 participants, including women ministers and high-level officials and representatives of the academia, civil society, business and women＇s organizations, from 16 of the G20 （Group of Twenty） countries, seven guest-countries and four related international organizations.
