Several leaders from the Legal Department of Gansu （in Northwest China） Women＇s Federation recently acted as jurors when Lanzhou （capital of Gansu Province） Intermediate People＇s Court heard cases involving the commutation of sentences of 20 women, who were serving prison sentences in Gansu Women＇s Prison （in Lanzhou）.
