随着我国城镇化进程的加快,地方政府在实施义务教育中建立健全公共教育服务体系的保障作用更加凸显。切实履行统筹规划、政策引导、监督管理、经费保障等职能,实现城乡义务教育均衡发展,维护教育公平和教育秩序,是地方各级政府的法定职责。

With the acceleration of urbanization, local governments play a more prominent protective role in establishing and improving public education service system.Local governments at all levels should perform their lawful duties by carrying out earnestly overall planning, policy guidance, su-pervision and administration, funds guarantee;realizing a balanced development of urban and rural com-pulsory education, and maintaining educational equity and order.
