立德树人背景下高校公民教育探析

Viewpoint of Civic Education in Colleges and Universities under the Background of Fostering Morality and Cultivating Talents

党的十八大报告把"立德树人"确立为教育的根本任务,为高校开展公民教育提出了明确要求。"立德树人"对大学生健康成长具有重要价值,高校公民教育在贯彻落实"立德树人"根本任务过程中存在着重理论灌输、轻自我构建,重道德认知、轻实践体验,重外在形式、轻内在品质等问题。要从尊重学生的主体地位、强化自我教育,理论联系实际、注重实践育人,提炼道德精髓、重视以文育人等方面来增强高校公民教育的实效性。

The Eighteenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China took fostering integrity and promoting rounded development of people as the fundamental task of education.It put forward clear requirements for civic education in colleges and universities. Fostering morality and cultivating talents are of value to students’healthy growth.However, universities’civic education still exist some problems in implementing fostering morality and cultivating talents, such as emphasizing in-doctrination with theory and neglecting construction independently;taking moral cognition seriously and making light of practice experience; and valuing external form more than inner quality.So colleges should respect the principal position of students and strengthen self education; combine theory with practice and pay attention to practical education;refine moral essence and attach importance to education with intellectuals to enhance the effectiveness of civic education in colleges and universities.
