国际贸易往来和文化、技术的交流与合作日益频繁,术语连同它标记的新事物、新概念传播开来,术语语际翻译显得尤为重要,引起了人们对术语翻译理论中对策方法的探讨。因此必然要厘定归化与异化、直译与意译这两对翻译术语,分析研究现有术语翻译方法,从而构建术语翻译的方法论体系,促进各种术语翻译方法、手段与技巧的正确运用。

Various terms are emerging with the development of science and technology as well as the society. It is particularly important for terms to be translated and spread with the speed of international exchange and cooperation of trade,culture and technology among different nations. Term translation methodology can be formed with the clarification of domestication and foreignization,literal translation and free translation as well as the analysis of the present translating strategies and methods,thus to help various translating means and skills in correct application.
