We present a brief introduction to Newton＇s absolute space-time with his universal law of gravitation,Maxwell＇s field equation with his electromagnetic waves,and Einstein＇s relativity with his gravitational waves. In particular,we touch upon the detection of gravitational waves and speculate on its possible implications in the upcoming new era.
