Objective: To explore the therapeutic effect of electrotherapeutical instrument combined with traditional Chinese medicine and comprehensive nursing measures in treating rheumatoid arthritis. Methods: 96 patients with rheumatoid arthritis treated in our hospital from September 2012 to March 2014 were selected as research objects and randomly divided into the control group and the observation group, with 48 cases in each group, the control group received conventional Chinese herbal treatment while the observation group received medium frequency electrotherapy instrument combined with traditional Chinese medicine in addition to comprehensive nursing, the therapeutic effects, pain and bad mood score of patients in two groups were compared. Results: The significant effect, effect and the total effective rate of the observation group were significantly higher than that of the control group, the ineffective rate was lower than that of the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05); the joint pain score, SAS and SDS scores of the observation group were significantly lower than that of the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). Conclusion: Medium frequency electrotherapy instrument combined with traditional Chinese medicine and comprehensive nursing could significantly relieve the patients clinical symptoms and improve clinical effect in treating rheumatoid arthritis, it could relieve the patients pain and negative mood, therefore, it was worthy of clinical application and promotion.
