A Brief Look at Confucius’ s Relationship with Shangshu

孔子与《尚书》的关系,见于《论语》中的记载,《尚书》原始章节形成于孔子之前,孔子曾诵读、教授《书》篇.孔子孝悌思想源自《尚书》,《康诰》《酒诰》《无逸》等蕴含的孝悌观念与孔子孝道思想吻合.孔子中庸观念源于《尚书》,《酒诰》《立政》《吕刑》等涉及的“中”是孔子中庸思想的源泉.《尚书》作为治政之书,孔子以《书》开科授徒,开启王官之学向诸子之学下移的序幕.

Shangshu, a book of political teaching in ancient time, contains affluent education thoughts. There had been original chapters before Confucius arranged the order of chapters in Shangshu. Confucius founded school and taught Shangshu to students, which was later kept in the analects of Confucius. By comparing the analects of Confucius and Shangshu, it can be found that the thought of filial piety and the doctrine of the Mean in Confucianism were derived from Shangshu. Confucius is the undertaker of Shangshu and promoted the communication in society.
