Exploration of Classical Poetry Teaching in Universities

大学古典诗词教学的目的是传承诗词中承载的人文精神,挖掘诗词中让人兴发感动的力量。古典诗词的教学要授之以渔,而非授之以鱼。对作家生平经历、思想心态的讲授是古代诗词教学中不容忽视的部分,因此,必须重视诗词格律的教学,鼓励学生学习诗词吟唱并积极参与古典诗词的创作。

The purpose of Chinese classical poetry teaching in university is to inherit the humanistic spirit,and develop the strength in the poems. This paper points out that classical poetry teaching should focus on the way of appreciating these works instead of telling students what these works tell. And the poetsˊ life experience and mentality is an indispensible part of classical poetry teaching. Metrical pattern should also be given emphasis in and students should be encouraged to actively participate in poetry chanting and creating.
