人文素质教育是素质教育的子系统 ,具有教育理念的一般特性 ,并处于基础性的地位 ,加强高校的人文素质教育对全民整体素质的提高有着重要的扩散和推动作用。当前高校人文素质教育应在人文知识的普及、优秀传统文化的继承。

The humanistic education is one of the branches in the quality oriented education. It has the general characteristics of the education theory and concept. It is of the basic standing. To strengthen and enhance the universities' humanistic education plays a popular and stimulating role in the improvement of the quality of the whole nation. At present, the universities' humanistic education can be done in the aspects of popularization of the humanistic knowledye, of the heritage of the fine traditional culture and enhancement of the teachers' cultural attainments.
