Summarization of Professor Hu Zhilan's Experience for Treatment of Blepharospasm

[目的]探析胡芝兰老师针刺治疗眼睑痉挛的临床经验。[方法]通过跟师临诊,整理老师以往临床病例资料,总结胡老师针刺治疗眼睑痉挛的治疗思路及操作方法,并附验案举隅。[结果]胡芝兰老师通过50余年临证,博采古今医家治疗之长,基于眼睑痉挛的病因病机,结合神经解剖学理论,总结出该病的针刺治疗方法。胡老师认为本病以虚证多见,亦常见因虚致实。临证时注重神经解剖,取用效穴翳风和牵正,明确神经支配,善用颈夹脊穴,强调"经络辨治,上下配伍"和"四诊合参,辨证选穴",用之于临床,屡用屡效。所举验案,疗效确切。[结论]胡芝兰老师针刺治疗眼睑痉挛经验独到,值得借鉴和推广运用。

[Objective] To explore teacher Hu Zhilan ＇s clinical experience in treating blepharospasm by acupuncture. [Method] By following teacher Hu ＇s clinical diagnosis and treatment as well as organizing previous clinical cases, to sum up the treatment thoughts and operational method,and with a case. [Result] Teacher Hu, through more than 50 years clinical experience, absorbed and drew upon the achievement of ancient and modern medical treatment of blepharospasm with the appropriate reference of modern medical theory research,according to the etiology and pathogenesis of blepharospasm, based on the neural anatomy and summed up a number of good reproducibility and efficient prescription. Teacher Hu showed that majority of symptoms manifested itself in pure asthenia symptom or excess caused by deficiency. So Teacher Hu chose Jiaji acupoint, effective acupoint Yifeng and Qianzheng, emphasized that treatment based on meridians and collaterals differentiation and combined application of both superior and inferior point, four diagnostic methods, acupoint- selcection shall be based on symptom differentiation. The prescriptions are used in clinical treatment gaining repeated effect and long- term effect. It has obtained the good curative effect. [Conclusion]Teacher Hu has unique clinical experience on blepharospasm which is worthy reference and popularization.
