宪法是人类文明的标志。以宪法规定社会主义精神文明建设 ,是对马克思主义法学理论的重大发展。建设中国特色社会主义 ,必须依据宪法精神建设社会主义精神文明 ,特别是文化、教育等领域 ,尤其要加强和完善立法、执法以及法律监督 ,使宪法精神具体化 ,逐步将社会主义精神文明建设纳入法制轨道。

Constitution symbolizes human civilization. It is a significant advance to the theory of law science of Marxism to stipulate the construction of cultrual and ethical progress of sccialism in our current constitution. To build socialism with Chinese characteristics, we must foster our cultural and ethical progress by virtue of the constitution. It is especially important to strengthen and perfect the legislation, execution and supervision of law in the cultural and educational fields, which is to embody the spirit of our constitution.
