摘要
叶芝笔下的玫瑰已从自然物升华为超自然物,在某种程度上凝结了叶芝复杂多变的时间观,其时间意义随着不同的空间表征即神秘宇宙空间表征、身体空间表征、家园空间表征处在不断的变化和融合之中。存在于叶芝诗歌时间观念中的时间性和永恒性这一对矛盾在玫瑰的空间表征中实现调和并达成统一。
Rose in Yeats＇ s poetry has been sublimed from natural substance to supernatural substance and to some extent con- tains Yeats＇ s complex view on time. The theme of time in the symbolic meaning of rose varies along with different spatial rep- resentations-cosmic representation, bodily representation and homeland representation. The contradiction between temporality and eternity in Yeats＇ s view on time is reconciled and united in the spatial representations of rose.
