摘要 《老水手之歌》以一个老水手射杀信天翁而给全船带来灾难的神奇故事 ,阐述了基督教有关原罪说和博爱的基本教义 ;展示了武断的上帝如何使人处于被动服从的地位 ,束缚人的思想并由此使人产生恐惧感 ; Samuel Coleridge's long poem The Rime of the Ancient Mariner is both romantic and highly realistic. It displays the basic Christian creed of original sin through a lengedary story of an ancient mariner kills an albatross and brings disaster to the whole ship. It shows how the arbitrary God compels human beings to obey him, confines their thoughts and makes them live in fear. It is also a representation of the solitude and suffering of real life.
