摘要
本文以国际学术期刊论文为语料,对2004—2014年国外商务英语演讲研究现状进行考察。研究发现:1)国外商务英语演讲研究成果较少,跨学科特点明显,主要受到语言学、管理学和传播学的关注,三个学科的关注度和研究成果不平衡;2)商务演讲研究热点包括营销演讲、演讲技巧、商业企划书、学生与企业人员演讲能力培训等话题;3)实证研究占主导地位,多采用定量研究方法,包括实验研究、问卷调查、统计分析等。本研究对我国英语演讲教学和商务英语教学与研究具有启示。
This paper makes a survey of international research advances in business English public speaking based on the corpus of international academic papers published between 2004 and 2014. The study has found that 1) research on business English public speaking is under-published internationally,with significant multi-disciplinary focus from linguistics,management and communication. 2) Major research topics include sales presentations,public speaking styles,business plan presentation,and public speaking training for students and entrepreneurs,etc. 3) Empirical research is dominated by quantitative studies,such as experiment,questionnaire survey,statistical analysis etc. The findings have implications for public speaking teaching and Business English teaching and research in China.
