Biological Activity of Procyanidins

原花青素是一种聚多酚类混合物,有着极强的抗氧化及清除自由基活性,还有调节脂质代谢、抗肿瘤、降血压、治疗眼科疾病、免疫调节等作用。综述了原花青素生理活性的研究进展,探讨了目前仍存在的一些问题,并对原花青素的发展前景进行了展望。

Procyanidins,a mixture of polyphenols,is confirmed to have the high abilities to withstand oxidability and scavenge free radical,which can also regulate fat metabolism,resist tumour,reduce blood pression,cure ophthalmic diseases,regulate immunization and so on. The biological activities of procyanidins are introduced. Some problems which are still existing up to now are discussed. For the more the development for prospect of procyanidins are expected.
