大学公共英语教学存在的问题与对策

Problems and Countermeasures for College English Teaching

随着社会对高校毕业生能力的要求越来越严格,高等院校教学质量提升受到普遍关注。当前高等院校大学公共英语教学存在学生英语应用能力较低、英语等级考试作为唯一目标、课时繁重、教学设计不合理、传统讲授教学为主,与新媒体教学融合有待加强等问题。应通过合理设置课程目标、建立科学的评价体系、合理安排教学时间、提高教师教学能力、合理利用多媒体技术等方面进行改革,以达到提高教学质量的目标。

With increasingly stringent requirements for the ability of college graduates, the improvement of teaching quality in colleges and universities is widely concerned. Current problems of college English are as follows： Students＇ low English proficiency,CET as the only goal, the heavy class, unreasonable teaching design, the traditional lecture-based teaching, and the integration of teaching and new media. In order to achieve the goal of improvement of teaching quality, it is reformed in the following aspects： a reasonable set of curriculum goal, establishment of a scientific evaluation system, a reasonable arrangement of teaching time,improvement of teachers＇ teaching ability, and rational use of multimedia technology.
