基于语料库的汉英会议口译中范化现象探讨

在汉英会议口译过程中,范化确实逐渐在成为一种倾向。在语料库的基础上,通过对汉英会议口译中的汉语文本的典型特点以及英译文本的典型特点,还包括对口译语料的副语言特征进行分析,更加确认了范化现象的存在。这种现象形成的原因是多方面的,主要原因在于英汉语言文化之间的差异以及规范对于译者的影响。但是,范化处理并不是在任何情况下都存在的,译者在对待源语的典型文本特征时,就不会出现范化。

Normalization in conference interpreting is currently becoming a trend during the working process. This thesis tends to further confirm the existence of normalization in conference interpreting on a basis of corpus study by analyzing both the typical characteristics of Chinese texts and English translations, and at the same time, the paralinguistic features of the linguistic data. There are various causes of the appearance of this phenomenon,however, the differences between the two languages and cultures as well as the influences of norms on the translator could be considered as the primary cause. Nevertheless, normalization does not always exist in the process of interpreting as it may not appear when an interpreter is dealing with the typical features of the source language text.
