论孟达之真实面目

Discussing on Meng Da's True Features

本文根据《三国演义》及相关历史文献,对孟达的真实面目重新进行分析和还原。通过搜集整理孟达其父、其友方面的历史文献,本文认为,孟达政治眼光敏锐,军事才能突出,内心桀骜不驯,功业欲望强烈,就武功、谋略和才情而论,孟达当属蜀中士族中的出类拔萃者。而孟达与作为领导者的刘备在性情气质方面的对立与排斥,也许为孟达投靠刘蜀集团后的悲剧性结局埋下了伏笔。

According to the Romance of the Three Kingdoms and the related historical documents,this paper trys to restore Meng Da’s true features. With the historical documents that related to Meng Da’s father and his friends,we believe that Meng Da was one of the guys with keen judgment in political affair,with extraordinary talents in military operation,with the charaters of unruliness and disrespectfulness, and with a strong desire to succeed. In terms of his fighting skill, strategy and intelligence, he was excellent in central Sichuan’s aristocracy group. The opposition and repulsion between temperaments that belong to Meng Da and Liu Bei who was acting as a leader,had prepared the way for Meng Da’s tragic ending that occured after he surrendered to the Shu Dynasty.
