唐人咏鹰诗不仅数量多,而且其审美意蕴和所反映出的士人心态多样。盛唐咏鹰诗多是颂扬鹰刚健有力和壮志凌云的美感,反映了当时士人尚武尚功、积极进取、乐观豁达的精神风貌。中晚唐时期,咏鹰诗重在从审丑的角度开掘新的美学意义,如笼鹰、饥鹰、病鹰等意象,反映了当时士人冷寂、落寞、彷徨与愤懑的心理特征。

The Tang poems about Eagle not only are numerous,but also the mentality of its aesthetic implication and spirit of scholars are various. In the flourish of Tang dynasty,poets praised the eagle for the vigorous and ambitious feature,which reflects the prevailing custom of warrior,positive enterprising,optimistic spirit. In the middle and late Tang Dynasty,poets focused on new aesthetic significance,such as cage eagle,hungry eagle,sick eagle,reflecting chilly,lonely,anxious and resentful of the scholar psychological characteristics.
