Through the analysis of Northern Shaanxi swearwords＇ produce origin,classification of word formation,pragmatic function and cultural connotation,and analysis of swearwords＇ role in emotional exchanges and strengthening the social norms,we can further exploit the northern Shaanxi people＇ s thought idea,the social value,and ethical attitudes and perceptions of the curse of death and moral in the swearwords. As a special phenomenon of social culture,swearwords of northern Shaanxi dialect not only embody the Local cultural features formed in the area of cultural and natural environment,also vividly reflect the unique geographical and cultural connotation of northern Shaanxi.
