摘要
英语口语教学的最终目的是让学习者在具体语境中能运用所学的语言知识成功地进行交流。传统英语课堂仅满足于语言知识的传授,而忽视语际语用能力的培养,致使学习者虽掌握了某一目标语语法也不一定具备语境条件下恰当的语言行为能力。文章分析学习者如何习得、发展和理解语用,探讨在交际语境下人们常出现的语际语用失误,并从中获得启示,改善当前高校英语的口语教学。
The final goal of oral foreign language teaching is to enable learners to communicate successively in different contexts with the acquired target language knowledge. Traditional classrooms, however, focus on linguistic competence and ignore interlanguage pragmatic competence. When a learner acquires a special item of grammar, it does not necessarily ensure a proper speech act in a special context.Interlanguage pragmatic competence is teachable, which is exemplified by acquisition, development and understanding in foreign language teaching. The paper probes into major interlanguage pragmatic failure and its inspiration to oral foreign language teaching.
