Introductions are made on basic conditions of Hutuo River Basin and eco-environment protection by taking Xinzhou City of Shanxi Province as an example. An analysis is made on challenges and importance of ecological recovery and protection. Then some suggestions are made for formulating and implementing Planning on Ecological Recovery and Protection of Hutuo River Basin scientifically and effectively.
