The Logic of Formation of the Socialist System with Chinese Characteristics:From the Perspective of Modernization and Globalization

现代化全球化与中国特色社会主义制度的关系:从现代化看,就是从传统制度向现代制度的发展;从全球化看,就是中国与全球化的关系。就现代化而言,中国现代化历史进程决定了中国社会主义现代化的性质和方向,共产党成为领导核心,现代化的经济、民主法治、文化、社会、生态等制度安排;就全球化而言,全球化具有三大逻辑:资源的优化配置、优胜劣汰、优势互补。全球化的逻辑推进我国经济体制、民主体制、法治进程不断完善和发展。现代化和全球化的交织与重合,是创建中国特色社会主义制度的内外动因,是理解中国特色社会主义制度形成的一把重要钥匙。

Concerning the relationship between the modernization and globalization and the socialist system with Chinese characteristics, from the viewpoint of modernization, such relationship is the development from the traditional system to the modern one, and from the viewpoint of globalization, it is the relationship between China and the process of globalization. In terms of modernization, the historical process of China＇s modernization has determined the institutional arrangement of the nature and direction of the socialist modernization of China, the core leadership that CCP has gained, and the modern- ization of the areas like economy, democracy, the rule of law, culture, society, ecology, etc. In terms of globalization, it has three logical theses： the optimal allocation of resources, the survival of the fittest and the complementary advantages. The logic of globalization has promoted the process of continuous improvement and development of economic system, democra- cy and rule of law in China. The intertwining and coincidence of modernization and globalization is the internal and exter- nal cause which has created the socialist system with Chinese characteristics. It is an important key to understand the for- mation of the socialist system with Chinese characteristics.
