The multimedia auxiliary teaching is a kind of modern teaching way. In middle school English teaching, its application, connected with the characteristics of the subject completely, can activate classroom teaching atmosphere and improve classroom teaching effect through the integration of images, sounds, texts and animations. Multimedia auxiliary teaching is also the new trend in the development of modern English teaching. Starting from the teaching characteristics of the English subject, this arti-cle tries to practically invigorate middle school English class and truly reflect the role of multimedia in middle school English teaching, by focusing on how to use multimedia-assisted teaching method to arouse students＆#39; interest in learning English, how to build situational communication atmosphere and how to properly and moderately make use of multimedia auxiliary teaching in English classroom teaching.
