On the Application of Deconstructive Reading to Reading of English for Academic Purposes

伴随高等教育国际化步伐的加快,学术英语教学成为了大学英语教学的新特点。其中,把解构主义阅读理论运用到学术英语阅读教学中,有助于学生学习一种多元解读的阅读方法,培养学生的独立思辨能力,为我们提供了新的教学视角。

The teaching of English for academic purposes has become a new branch in college English teaching due to rapid internationalization of China＇ higher education. In teaching students to read essays of the English variety,the paper proposes that reading theories of deconstructivism could be applied to help develop their abilities of independent thinking since they will be guided by a reading method featuring diversified interpretations over reading materials. This offers a new and fresh perspective for college English teachers to teach the variety of English.
