A Tentative Study on the Effects of Internet Language upon University Students

网络语言具有幽默诙谐、简洁高效、新颖即时的特点,这些特点正迎合了大学生求新求异求速度的表达需要,越来越多的大学生在线上线下都爱使用网络语言,而网络语言也对大学生产生了一定的影响,网络语言的失范在一定程度上削弱了大学生传统语言的使用能力。

Internet language is popular among more and more university students both online and offline owing to its unique features such as humor,succinctness,immediacy and efficiency which meet their demands for novel and distinctive expression. However,attention shall also be paid to the negative effects of the language upon university students since some improprieties in its use in fact do impair the students ＇pragmatic use of conventional language.
