The Negative Influence of Native Language on Foreign Language Learning

The influence of native language on foreign language learning is always a key content of ＂Bilingual Learning＂ research,this kind of influence is called as native language migration phenomenon during the learning process of second language. Linguists generally believe that,even language migration cannot explain all the problems during the learning process of second language,if they do not consider language migration,they cannot make accurate interpretation on any aspects of the problems. The research result of scholars shows that,native language migration phenomenon can also be divided into positive migration phenomenon and negative migration phenomenon; based on the difference degree and nature existed in native language and second language,the knowledge system and skills of native language will make positive or negative effects on the learning of second language. Therefore,during the learning process of second language,accurately recognize the difference and nature of native language and second language,make deep understanding on the migration influence of native language on the learning process of second language,and then obtain the guidance scheme for native language migration phenomenon is an effective way to help language learner to quickly master the second language.
