Chinese Traditional Virtues of Taiwan Ethnic Minorities and Its Practical Significance

中华传统美德是中华民族几千年的历史、文化凝炼而成的社会道德准则,台湾少数民族作为中华民族大家庭的一员,在漫长的历史进程中与汉族和其他少数民族共同形成并继承了中华传统美德。长期以来,台湾少数民族为抵御外来侵略、捍卫民族尊严进行了不屈不挠的斗争,为中华民族的发展和台湾的开发建设作出了重要贡献。他们的生活习俗、精神品质和峥嵘历史,无不体现出拥有悠久历史的中华传统美德。

Chinese traditional virtues are the code of ethics of Chinese nation and the accumulation of history and culture through thousands of years. Being part of the Chinese nation, the ethnic minorities in Taiwan, together with the Han Ethnic Group and other ethnic minorities, created and carried forward such traditional virtues in the long course of history. They perseveringly struggled against external aggression and defended national dignity, and greatly contributed to the growth of the Chinese nation and the development of Taiwan. Chinese traditional virtues are reflected in every aspect of their customs, spirits, qualities and history.
