摘要
根据我国东、中、西部不同层次的14所高校毕业生的调查数据,本文探讨了高校毕业生起薪的性别差异状况及其影响因素。研究发现:高校毕业生起薪存在显著的性别差异,女生起薪的平均数只有男生起薪平均数的90.2%。人力资本变量、家庭禀赋变量、劳动力市场就业特征变量,尤其是人力资本变量对高校毕业生起薪的性别差异具有一定的解释能力;劳动力市场中的性别歧视也是导致高校毕业生起薪存在性别差异的重要原因。在此基础上,本研究提出了缩小高校毕业生起薪性别差异的对策建议。
Based on the survey data of 14 universities in eastern,central and western areas,it analyzed gender difference in starting salaries of college graduates and its influential factors.It found that gender difference in starting salaries of college graduates were significant,and the average starting salaries of female students accounted for 90.2% of those of male students.Human capital variables,family endowments variables and employment characteristic variables of labor market had some explanatory power on gender differences in starting salaries of college graduates,especially human capital variables.Gender discrimination in the labor market was also an important reason leading to gender difference in starting salaries of college graduates.On this basis,it proposed countermeasures to narrow gender difference in starting salaries of college graduates.
