Investigation of Liu Erju and His Xueshitang Poetry

刘尔■是清初陕西人,著有诗集《雪石堂诗草》。通过对《雪石堂诗草》及其他相关资料的综合考察,了解到刘尔■一生虽未做官,但游历颇丰。《雪石堂诗草》共收刘尔■各体诗歌224题489首,是刘尔■各种生命体验的记录,亦承载着他与亲朋好友的厚谊深情。

Liu Erju was born in Shaanxi at the beginning of the Qing Dynasty. He had a collection of poems called Xueshitang Poetry. The comprehensive investigation on Xueshitang Poetry and other relevant information revealed that Liu Erju never worked as an official in his life, but he traveled around a lot of places. Xueshitang Poetry assembled 489 pieces of 224 kinds of poems by Liu Erju.This collection of poetry described his life experience and contained his profound love for his friends,relatives and family.
