广西北部湾作家群是指以广西北部湾地区的本土作家为主体,同时包括20世纪70年代末改革开放之后移居钦州市、北海市和防城港市的外地作家在内的作家群体。在这一支宏大的队伍中,既有文坛宿将,又有中年精英,还有后起之秀,按其创作专长和成就,可分小说家、诗人、散文家等三个系列。这一创作群体于世纪之交崛起,与冯敏昌等古代文人创作的深远影响,李英敏、张化声等老一辈作家筚路蓝缕的作用,广西北部湾海洋文化的熏陶和广西北部湾开发开放沸腾生活的感召有着密切关系。

Guangxi Beibu Gulf writer group refers to the writer group mainly consists of local writers of Guangxi Beibu Gulf area as well as writers came and lived in Qinzhou city,Beihai city and Fangchenggang city since late 1970 s. Writers of this group are of different age and can be divided into novelists,poets and prose writers. The rising of the writer group at the turn of century is a result of profound influence of ancient local writers like FENG Min-chang and arduous effort of senior local writers like LI Ying-min、ZHANG Hua-sheng etc.. Besides,it is also closely related to the ocean literary atmosphere and the rapid economic and social development of Beibu Gulf area after opening and reforming.
