高职高专学生思辨能力的培养探讨——以英语教学为视角

Discussion on Critical Thinking Ability of Higher Vocational College Students——from the Perspective of English Teaching

思辨能力是高等教育培养的核心能力,是思维能力的重要组成部分,然而,思辨能力缺失是目前高职高专院校学生普遍存在的问题。以英语教学为视角分析高职院校学生思辨能力缺失的现状及原因,并提出英语教学中思辨能力的培养和改革途径,目的是让高职高专学生学会独立思考、明辨是非,积极提升自身综合素质,以适应社会人才需求。

Critical thinking,an important part of thinking ability,is a core competence of higher education. Yet lacking of critical thinking ability is a common problem among students of higher vocational colleges. In this paper,the situation and reasons of critical thinking ability absence are analyzed from the perspective of English teaching. And the necessity and importance of critical thinking ability for students of higher vocational colleges are stated. Besides,ways to develop and reform critical thinking ability in English teaching are proposed with the aim of making students of higher vocational colleges learn to think independently,distinguish right from wrong,and improve their overall quality to meet social demands.
