Duliujian River＇s wide channel wetland is an important wetland in Tianjin City, but its wetland function has been gradually weakened because of being affected by perennial water shortage. The close-to-nature restoration of this wetland not only produces the water source for this wetland but also improves the river water quality by using wetland＇s purification ability. This paper introduces the current status and restoration reasons of Duliujian River＇s wide channel wetland, expounds the concrete contents of Duliujian River＇s wide channel wetland restoration project, analyzes the influences of Duliujian River＇s wide channel wetland restoration project, and puts forward some corresponding countermeasures.
