摘要 Higher living standards and better medical care are increasing the lifespan of people around the world.Aging populations,however,have an increased incidence of loss of function or failure of cell,tissue or organ.This has led to the development of new medical disciplines,such as organ transplantation and more recently regenerative medicine.
