An Analysis of the Cooperative Principle in the Police's Words in Interrogation

警察讯问话语一直是法律语言学研究的重要领域之一。在语用学视角下,基于格莱斯的"合作原则",拟以警察讯问话语为研究对象,考察讯问主体(讯问人员)和讯问客体(犯罪嫌疑人)遵守或违反"合作原则"的情况,同时在讯问过程中,"合作原则"的遵守往往受到客观因素(法律因素和证据因素等)和主观因素(讯问内容、讯问语言、讯问主客体的文化程度等)的影响。

The police＇s words in the interrogation have always been one of the important areas of forensic linguistics.Based on the Cooperative Principle put forward by H.P.Grice,this paper focuses on studying the police＇s words in interrogation from the perspective of pragmatics,probes into the circumstances in which the interrogation subject（the interrogator） and the interrogation object（ the suspect） follow or violate the cooperative principle,and indicates that during the interrogation,the willingness of the subject and object to follow the principle is influenced by the objective factors（legal factors and evidence factors） as well as the subjective factors（ the contents of the interrogation,words used in interrogation,the educational level of the subject and object in interrogation）.
