沈鹊应作为晚清词坛重要的女性词人,其作品以丈夫林旭殉国为界,前期感伤幽怨词作较多,后期则抒写饱蘸血泪之作,"字字泣血,语语含悲",不仅具有极高的思想性和艺术价值,且折射出近代中国社会的大变动和生活于其中的女性思想观念的变化轨迹。

As an important female Ci-poetry writer in the late Qing Dynasty,Shen Queying＇s poetry became quite different with her husband Lin Xu martyred. There were more bitterness in her early writings,but her later works was even overflowed with blood and tears. Her works had high ideological content and artistic value,but also reflected the big changes of modern China and the thought trajectory of women then.
