Discussion on block model change from “wide road sparse nets” to “narrow road dense nets”

通过分析现有"宽马路,疏路网"的现状,总结了该模式出现的原因及不利影响,并介绍了"窄马路,密路网"的设计理念,提出了新区设计和旧区改造的建议,在一定程度上改善由于盲目追求大体量、大尺度的空间模式而导致街区空间活力丧失的局面。

In this paper we expose the causes and advert effects of China5 s current ubroad roads with wide spacing network^ model, by analyzing its pre-existing condition, to illustrate a new road planning concept, that is theunarrow roads with high intensity network^ model, which would promote fresh and efficient approaches for the transformation of old districts as well as the construction of new ones. The lack of block vitality, re-sulting from the blind pursuit of large scale and large size of building spaces, would also be released.
