The roof garden makes up a small ecosystem, which is ornamental and practical. Its value on education is also multidimensional. Based on the roof garden in the school, Shanghai Minli High School has carried out a variety of school-based curriculums from the perspective of different subjects, such as biology and geography. The curriculums have highlighted the school’s characteristics, improved the students’ learning style and academic achievements.
