摘要
本文介绍了细径(φ165μm)超低弯曲损耗光纤的技术难点,对预制棒结构设计进行调整,采用MCVD制造预制棒,改造G657光纤拉丝设备,调整拉丝工艺条件,生产了几何尺寸稳定的细径光纤,对该光纤开展性能测试。将该光纤与G657光纤进行机械性能、抗弯曲性能等对比实验,结果显示细径超低弯曲损耗光纤在常规指标上均能满足G657标准要求,同时该光纤在百圈弯曲的条件下仍然具有超低的弯曲损耗性能。
This paper introduces the technology ditfuulty of thin-diameter(165 μm in diameter) ultra-low bending-loss optical fiber and the methods to adjust the structure design of optical fiber preform.It uses MCVD to manufacture the optical fiber preform,transfomis G.657 fiber drawing equipment,adjusts the conditions of drawing process,produces geometrical-stable thin diameter optical fiber and carries out performance test of the optical fiber.Comparing this optical fiber with G.657 fiber in mechanical properties,andbending properties,it shows that thin-diameter ultra-low bending-loss optical fiber can meet the requirements of G.657 standards in conventional index,also it still has ultra-low bending-loss performance under a 100-circle bending condition.
