Theme books recommendation is one of the library service forms to meet the needs of readers' reading. Libraries can make their collections come into full play by doing theme books recommendation service.Based on the analysis of the development of theme book recommendation activity of Taizhou Library,the paper summarizes the analysis and research of the development of book recommendation activities,including promotion methods of theme books recommendation,borrowing situation analysis,reasons for borrowing differences,to provide references for the development of public library reading service.
