Study on Ice Resistance Estimation Using Empirical Models for Polar Ships

摘要 为了获得某极地船舶初始设计阶段的冰阻力值,采用了包括Lindqvist、Keinonen、Riska和Jeong模型在内的冰阻力经验模型对一艘极地船舶的冰阻力进行估算,并将计算结果与模型试验结果进行了比较。同时,对冰阻力经验模型开展了参数研究。研究结果可用于指导极地船型初步优化设计,为极地船舶冰阻力数值预报方法的开发提供参考。 In order to obtain ice resistance in preliminary design stage of polar ships, empirical models, including Lindqvist, Keinonen, Riska and Jeong models are used to estimate ice resistance of a polar ship, and the calculation results are compared with model test results. Meanwhile, the parameter study of the empirical theoretical models is conducted, which will guide the preliminary optimization of polar ship hull forms and lay foundation for the development of the numerical prediction method for ice resistance of polar ships.
