摘要
在借鉴国内外相关研究成果的基础上,对外语教学环境下的教师自主性维度构成进行界定,并对广东省内10所高职院校共131位公共英语教师进行调查与分析。结果表明,广东省高职院校公共英语教师自主意愿较为强烈,但自主能力、专业自由和自我导向式专业发展稍显欠缺,与强烈的自主意愿不匹配。继而提出了高职院校公共英语教师自主性发展的建议。
Based on the relevant research both at home and abroad, this study attempts to define the dimension constitution of teacher autonomy under the environment of EFL teaching. Then it explores teacher autonomy of 131 public English teachers in 10 higher vocational colleges in Guangdong Province. The results indicate that public English teachers in vocational colleges have strong willingness to be autonomous but autonomy competence, profession freedom and self-directed professional development are not satisfactory, which do not match with their strong autonomy willingness. After analyzing the possible reasons, the author proposes some suggestions on the development of English teacher autonomy in higher vocational colleges.
