摘要
随着立体图像显示技术的不断发展和广泛应用,为了保证图像在不同显示条件下的观赏质量,立体图像重定技术在工业界和学术界备受关注.由于立体图像的特殊性,传统二维图像重定技术难以直接应用于三维立体图像.文中在分析了立体视觉的特点及其对人的心理影响的基础上,阐述了立体图像重定技术所要解决的问题;然后将该技术领域内的已有研究文献按照方法类型分类,并分别对各类方法进行了综述和分析;最后对现有立体图像重定技术进行了总结,分析了其中存在的问题,提出了问题的解决方法和未来的研究思路.
Stereoscopic 3D display technology develops rapidly. In order to ensure the perception quality in various viewing conditions, the stereoscopic image retargeting technique receives much concern in recent years. Due to the different characteristics, stereoscopic image cannot be processed directly by the retargeting methods for traditional 2D image. In this paper, after analyzing the characteristics of stereo vision and its psychological impact, we describe the issue of stereoscopic image retargeting. Then we review the proposed techniques in this research area and classify them according to their basic approaches. At last we summarize the problems in the existing stereoscopic image retargeting techniques and propose the future research direction.
