Meige syndrome in 8 cases and review of literature

目的探讨A型肉毒毒素及其他临床治疗手段在Meige综合征中的应用价值.方法回顾分析自2008年3月至2014年10月,唐山二十二冶医院医疗美容科收治的8例Meige综合征患者,对其相关既往史、临床表现、辅助检查、治疗过程、康复状况分别进行总结、归纳.结果经过综合系统化治疗,8例患者在治疗5～7d,其临床症状均有不同程度的缓解,2周左右明显改善,治疗3个月后受累肌肉痉挛次数明显减少,1例患者接受治疗后至2016年1月尚未发作.结论A型肉毒毒素在治疗Meige综合征方面具有精准性、高效性、低耐药性不良反应少等优势,在各种治疗手段中凸显了其不可或缺的位置.

Objective To explore the applied value of BTX-A and other clinic treatment in Meige Syndrome.Methods From March 2008 to October 2014,retrospective analysis was performed on 8 cases with Meige syndrome in the department of medical cosmetology.The data analysed included sex,age of onset,experience of treatment,clinical manifestation,auxiliary examination,treatment process,and rehabilitation condition.Results After comprehensive systematic treatment,the clinical symptoms of 8 cases were relieved in varying degrees at 5 to 7 days,obviously improved at 2 months,and muscle spasms reduced significantly at 3 months.As of January 2016,one patient reported having experienced no attacks since treatment at six months.Conclusion BTX-A serves an important role in the treatment of Meige syndrome with advantages such as accuracy,high efficiency,low drug resistance,and few side effects.BTX-A is in an indispensable option among various kinds of treatments.
