论元代统治对云南科举的推进

On Yuan's Promotion of the Imperial Examination in Yunnan

元代对于中原文化的进展并未有太多深远且积极的影响,但对云南而言,其统治对加强云南政治、经济、文化的进步具有重要的历史意义。南诏、大理时期封建割据的终结使云南地区能够和中原保持相对同步发展。科举制度的推行和儒学的推广使得云南文教获得长足的进步与发展。

The Yuan dynasty did not have much profound and active influence on the development of the Central Plain culture. However, in Yunnan, Yuan＇ s ruling was of great historical significance to the advancement of politics, economy and culture. The termination of the feudal system of the Nanzhao-Dali period enabled Yunnan to keep pace with the Central Plain. The promotion of the Imperial Examination and Confucianism brought considerable progress and development to the culture and education of Yunnan.
