人类学会制造使用玻璃已有几千年的历史,但自觉意识到玻璃是另一种建筑材料和艺术媒介的时间并不长,在设计中发现并实践玻璃艺术工程的更少。当然这不妨碍玻璃日益成为人类生态、生活环境空间中的＂宠儿＂。玻璃是一种不同寻常的材料。玻璃的基本成分并不复杂,大部分是由碳酸钠、石灰石和二氧化硅制作而的。

Humans grasp the skills of manufacturing and using glass history for thousands of years,but they are consciously aware that glass is another building material and artistic medium not long ago.Fewer of them find and apply glass art engineering in design.Of course,this does not prevent the glass from becoming 'a favorite'' of human ecology space and living environment space.
