两系杂交水稻新组合培两优500的选育

培两优 5 0 0是以国家杂交水稻工程技术研究中心选育的育性稳定、米质好、株型好、再生能力强的培矮 6 4 S为母本 ,湖南农业大学选育的穗大粒多、米质较好的优良品系 5 0 0为父本进行杂交 ,于 1995年育成的适合作中稻蓄留再生种植的两系杂交稻新组合 .经品比试验、区域试验和生产示范试验结果表明 :该组合头季比汕优 6 3生育期短 4 d,产量相当 ;再生季生育期比汕优 6 3长 7d,增产 1倍左右 ;两季均表现出高产稳产、米质好、田间抗性较强 .2 0 0 2年 3月通过湖南省农作物品种审定委员会审定 。

Peiliangyou500, a newly developed two line hybrid rice suitable for ratooning rice after the main crop planted as middle season rice, was released to farmers in March,2002. The combination was crossed between Pei'ai 64S which is a genetics male sterile line with high ratooning ability and the male parent 500 which is of large panicle and good rice quality.The results investigated from Hunan Provincal Rice Regional Trail and middle test trial showed that the growth duration of Peiliangyou500 was four days shorter and seven days longer than those of Shanyou63 for the main crop and the ratooning crop respectively. There was no singificant difference of yield between the two hybrid rice for the main crop, but the yield of Peiliangyou500 was twice more than that of Shanyou63 for the ratooning crop.In March 2002,the two line hybrid rice peiliangyou500 was approved by the Crop Breeds Appraisal Comission of Hunan Province,and was applied to Ministry of Agriculture for protection of the right of new plant breed.
