摘要
氢氧化镁(Mg(OH)2)是性能优良的无机化工产品,但易团聚,影响其在阻燃等领域的使用。文章以原始粒径0.5μm^3.0μm、平均团聚粒径12.5μm的不规则团聚态片状氢氧化镁为原料,采用氯化镁辅助焙烧-水化法制备出高分散片状氢氧化镁。研究结果表明,采用氯化镁辅助焙烧可形成碱式氯化镁中间相,阻隔颗粒粘结,形成分散状纳米氧化镁,后者在80℃水化可形成原始粒径0.4μm^1.0μm、团聚粒径2.92μm、主含量99.0%的分散良好的片状氢氧化镁。
Magnesium hydroxide( Mg( OH)2) was a kind of inorganic chemical products widely used as industrial retardant owing to its unique physical and chemical properties,while the agglomeration usually inhibited its application. This paper studied the fabrication of dispersive Mg( OH)2 plate via MgCl2-assisted sintering and hydration route,using the irregular agglomerated Mg( OH)2 plate with a primary size of 0. 5 μm - 3. 0 μm and an average agglomerated size of 12. 5 μm as the raw material. The experimental result indicated that the formation of the basic magnesium chloride intermediate in the MgCl2-assited sintering process prevented the agglomeration and favored the formation of dispersive Mg O nano-particles. The hydration of the MgO nano-particle in water at 80 ℃ led to the formation of the dispersive Mg( OH)2 plate with a primary size of 0. 4 μm- 1. 0 μm,an average agglomerate size of 2. 92 μm and purity of 99. 0%.
